Laconium
This type of sauna was introduced by the ancient Romans. The ancient Roman patricians esteemed the type of corporeal
purification that is obtained through pure rays of heat. When the heat that is diffused by the walls reaches approximately
75 degrees Celsius, which is after about 15-20 minutes of being inside, intense perspiration begins.
This process of slow bodily heat release favours a corporeal purification process that is especially harmonious with our bodies.
Those who feel that Finnish saunas are too hot or aggressive will particularly enjoy the Laconium.
Tepidarium
The most famous baths of ancient Roman times were called "Tepidarium". In this type of sauna the temperature reaches 39
degrees Celsius, similar to the heat level that the human body reaches when it has fever. The optimal conditions for
drainage and regeneration of your immune system are reached at this temperature.
